A solar-powered security camera uses solar panels to convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. Then, an inverter transitions the direct current to an alternating current (AC) which can be used to power the CCTV. A lack of sunlight isn’t an issue either.

The inverter can directly supply the energy generated by the photovoltaic panels to the electrical system of your home or business to meet the energy needs. At night, when there is no photovoltaic energy production, the home, industry or business is powered by the high voltage lithium battery.
